Vicki
Bio:
Born in Columbus, Ohio Vicki made her singing debut in church at three years old. While a vocal music performance major in college and working with guitar legend Tommy Crook she discovered the great American songbook.
Vicki cut her teeth as the featured vocalist with saxophonists Rusty Bryant and Carl Sally, and Hammond B3 giants, Bobby Pierce, Billy Mason and Hank Marr. She has toured the United States as well as eight European countries and been the opening act for entertainers such as Mel Torme, Sarah Vaughan, Joe Williams and Buddy Rich.
While living in Los Angeles, McDermitt worked for Corde Productions on their daytime drama, Days Of Our Lives. She performed as a contract sessions singer, providing vocals for television specials and live events, as well as back up vocals for studio recordings for both secular and sacred projects.
A resident of the Phoenix valley, she can be found singing at local resorts, festivals, and concert venues as well as working with Music Serving The Word Ministries as a vocalist and outreach coordinator. Vicki uses both secular and sacred music as an inroad to bring humanitarian aid locally and internationally.
